The York baseball team lost its last regular season game 10-0 to Tabb to conclude the regular season. The team went 3-14 overall. The team beat Bruton, Warhill, and Jamestown during the regular season.
Notable wins included the Grafton game, which they won 1-0. The final score versus Warhill was 14-6 at home, and Jamestown was 9-8.
Drewry said, “It was a competitive season. I loved being around my friends and teammates every day and learning the game we all love.”
JV won 8-0 at Grafton to finish the season 8-4 in the Bay Rivers District.
Seniors on the varsity team included Josh Balser, Collin Scarborough, Gabe Richardson, and Brandon Drewry.
Other team members included Bradon Dahl, Landon Buffin (Jr.), Bobby Holihan (So.), Sean White (Jr.), Jackson Stratton (Jr.), Nikko Heinen (Jr.), Will Hunt (Fr.), Grady Steele (Jr.), Mason Reed (Jr.), Allan Harris (So.), and Jack Harrmann (So.).
